Our Mining Practice group comprises some highly dedicated lawyers with cognate experience in the extractive industry – from in-house and private practice work.

The group offers a diverse set of services to international and local interests in the mining sector, including procurement of mineral rights and titles, leases, and permits in close coordination with the relevant Ministries; draft, review and advising on partnership agreements for participatory interests and other resulting contracts; coordination of negotiations with host communities and engaging artisanal miners; relevant due diligence compliance, amongst others.

We are also actively involved in facilitating and pushing for on-going reforms in the mining and extractive industry in Nigeria and advise regulators and industry stakeholders on practical steps to nurture the sector.
