Eric has practical experience in debt recovery, banking & insurance matters, Alternate Dispute Resolution, land matters and regulatory compliance issues. He has represented clients in court in a wide range of matters including land matters, debt recovery, banking and insurance. He also advises corporate bodies, non-governmental organizations and associations on corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues. His experience in Oil & Gas include rendering legal opinion on local content requirement in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, and Oil and Gas Taxation.

Eric was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2009 and joined PUNUKA Attorneys & Solicitors in 2014. He started his legal practice with Aluko & Oyebode (Barristers, Solicitors & Trademark Agent) as NYSC Associate in 2009. Upon the completion of his NYSC, he worked with the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution section as Associate from 2010 to 2012 before proceeding for his LLM program in Oil & Gas Law at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK in 2013. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, International Association for Contract and Commercial Management, and International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrators Forum.
