In the course of a career developed in some of the leading law firms in Nigeria, Nnamdi has specialized in the areas of commercial and corporate law, company advisory services and corporate governance, insolvency law, civil litigation, maritime law, banking law particularly debt recovery, capital market practice including public issue of shares and private placements and other capital market transactions, intellectual property, labour law, business development and arbitration.

He has acquired great competence in advocacy and litigation practice. Nnamdi has argued matters at the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. He has also researched, prepared opinions and processes for actions pending before courts within and outside Nigeria. He acted as part of the team of lawyers representing a leading US pharmaceutical company in series of law suits instituted against them in Nigeria on the basis of multiple claims based on tort. Also he provided advisory opinions on Nigerian law to a multinational oil company in proceedings in the United States of America arising from the Alien Torts Act.

Nnamdi has been involved in the provision of advisory services in the privatization activities of the Bureau of Public (BPE) as part of the team of solicitors that act as consultants to the BPE under the Legal Advisory Partnership (LAP) for which he was Administrative Secretary.
