The 2015 edition of the PUNUKA annual lecture held on Thursday 30th April, 2015 at the Metropolitan Club, Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, Lagos, under the distinguished Chairmanship of Hon. Justice Emmanuel Ayoola, JSC (rtd.), CON. The topic of this year's lecture was 'Anti-corruption and bribery laws: Extra-territorial applications and lessons for businesses and government agencies' which was ably delivered by Professor Mariana Prado, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto.

Drawing on the similar experience of Brazil, Prof Prado suggested amongst others multiplicity of institutions in the fight against corruption; this, she said, would engender competition which results in increased effectiveness and efficiency. Justice Ayoola who is a former Chairman of the ICPC called for a more holistic approach and the strengthening of legal frameworks in fighting corruption. He also urged citizens to shun indifference and rather work collaboratively with government agencies to end graft.

The panel of discussants included Dr. Suleyman Ndanusa, immediate past Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Mr. Kemi Pinheiro and representatives of the Chairman, ICPC and DG, BPE.
